MudWorks Pottery
Much thought and years of experience go into each piece of pottery created by avid MudWorks Potter, JoAnn Stratakos. All pieces are original designs
creations, and are produced exclusively by JoAnn in her studio in the Pocono
Mountains of Pennsylvania. Her pottery pieces are made of Stoneware Clay, which has
splendid serviceability and resists chipping. Each piece is hand dipped
in custom glazes that she has formulated. Hand dipping requires more time than
spraying, but gives each piece subtle variations and its own unique
character. Each piece is microwave, dishwasher, freezer, and oven safe. If you are using the
pottery for baking, be sure to preheat the pottery along with your
oven.
